Thank You Walmart!: Grand Opening Becomes a Grand Giving Opportunity

Lynchburg – Walmart has a new look in Lynchburg and they celebrated by giving back to their community. During their Grand Re-opening on Wards Road Wednesday they presented $7,000 in checks to the Lynchburg City School Community.

The money will go towards programs that will enrich the learning experiences of our children.

Here’s where that money will go:  

• Education Foundation: $2,000
• Partners in Education: $2,000
• Dearington Elementary: $500
• Paul Munro Elementary: $500
• Sandusky Elementary: $500
• Heritage Elementary: $500
• Hutcherson Elementary: $500
• T.C. Miller Elementary: $500
