Supply Drive Will Make For a Good Start To The School Year
Q-99’s annual “Pack The Bus” event was a huge success for Lynchburg City Schools. With the help of Walmart, our bus filled with hundreds of supplies. Now dozens of children will show up to school with confidence, knowing they’ve been given the tools they need to learn, grow and succeed.
Lynchburg City Schools would like to thank the community members for their support during the “Pack the Bus” campaign. For three hours folks from around the community stopped by our big yellow school bus to donate supplies. And a special thanks to Walmart for their $850 gift card donation. That card went entirely to school supplies as well. And, of course, our esteemed LCS leadership deserves a big thank you! Many of them took time to shop and fill the bus as well.
