Top Tech Honors for LCS Middle School Students

Future Focus Expo 2008

Lynchburg City middle school students took more than half of the awards at Liberty University’s Tech Challenge. It was all part of the Future Focus Expo that took place on October 21, 2008 at the Tolsma Indoor Track. Nine middle schools from across the area took part in the four challenges. Lynchburg City Schools placed in each.

Linkhorne Middle School:

  • 2nd Place: Centra Healthcare Challenge

Dunbar Middle School also sent an award-winning number of students to the Future Focus Expo at Liberty University last week – literally. The School’s Parent-Teacher Organization will receive $500 from the expo for having the most students participate in the Career Technical Competitions.
