Making Music at Miller

Take note – the students of T.C. Miller Elementary are singing the right tune! And the week of December 8, 2008 they brought in a professional recording artist to help them explore their talent. The program is called Kid Pan Alley. T.C. Miller students were able to participate thanks to the generosity of the Lynchburg Fine Arts Center.
During the week, Paddy Dougherty, a professional jazz and blues singer and Lynchburg native, helped the children create songs like – “If I Were Somebody”, “What’s your problem”, Cash Flows” and “Santa Plays a Red Guitar”. At the end of the week the school performed a concert for their parents and teachers.
