Academic All Star Honored for Success On and Off the Field
Senior Stephen Webb, an E.C. Glass student-athlete, is now an Academic All American. He was selected by the United States Lacrosse Association thanks to his impressive achievements during his time at Glass on and off the field.
Webb’s athletic successes started as a freshman when he earned “Rookie of the Year” in lacrosse. Since then he has won “Attackman of the Year” twice and will receive the “Coach’s Award” this year.
With a 4.39 GPA, it is easy to tell that Webb’s successes follow him off the field as well. He is a student at the Central Virginia Governor’s School, a member of the National Honor’s Society, a member of the History Honors Club and vice president of the Math Honors Club. His time as a Cadet Commander of the Lynchburg Composite Civil Air Patrol Squadron has prepared him for The United States Merchant Marine Academy; he will attend next fall.
