Statewide Theatre Festival to be Held at Dunbar Middle

Paul Laurence Dunbar Middle School For Innovation will play host to the Virginia Theatre Association’s Young People’s Theatre Festival.  Young actors and actresses from across the state will be here this weekend.  The festival is open to the public and will begin Friday, November 13 from 6:00 p.m. until 10:00 p.m. and on Saturday, November 14 from 7:30 a.m. until 7:00 p.m.  Admission is $5.00 for a day pass.  Dunbar will be performing first, on Friday evening at 6:30 p.m. and Linkhorne Middle School will be the last performance on Friday at 9:15 p.m.  On Saturday, performances will run all day.  Students will also participate in various workshops on acting and drama.
