The No Child Left Behind Act of 2001 (NCLB) requires schools to meet Adequate Yearly Progress (AYP) goals each year in reading/language arts and mathematics. Schools that do not make AYP for two or more consecutive years in the same subject area are identified as being in School Improvement. Heritage, Linkhorne, Perrymont, and R. S. Payne Elementary Schools are in School Improvement for the 2011-2012 school year. Each school is required to offer Public School Choice. Heritage and Perrymont Elementary Schools are also required to provide Supplemental Educational Services.

To provide parents and guardians with more information about Public School Choice and Supplemental Educational Services, each school will host an informational meeting. The dates and times for the meetings are listed below:
