Heritage High School’s literary and arts magazine, Avant Garde, is gaining national recognition. The magazine received a rank of “above average” and is one of twenty in the Commonwealth to be recognized by the National Council of Teachers of English.
Avant Garde is produced once a year thanks to fundraisers and donations. In fact, the high school will hold a fundraiser for the magazine – The Heritage Idol Talent Show Contest - Friday, January 27, 2012 at 7 p.m. in the school auditorium. Tickets are $5 in advance and $6 at the door.
