The top 15 seniors from E.C. Glass High School and the top 15 from Heritage High School were recognized for their superior academic accomplishments during the Senior Honors Recognition in the Memorial Ballroom at Lynchburg College.

The program is supported by area colleges and universities including  Central Virginia Community College, Liberty University, Lynchburg College, Randolph College, Sweet Briar College, and Virginia University of Lynchburg.   The event was attended by administrators from the Lynchburg City Schools along with Lynchburg City School Board members, and Lynchburg City Schools Education Foundation Trustees.  Parents, guardians and teachers also attended to support the students’ achievements.

Students were individually recognized and received a certificate honoring their success. This year’s list of honorees included:
