City Council to Recognize Glass Teams

During the September 11th meeting, city council will recognize the nine E. C. Glass athletic teams that made it to the state's final eight last year. Glass finished third out of 92 schools in the Wells Fargo Cup--an award that recognizes excellence in athletics at the state level. The following teams are being recognized.

Boys' Soccer: 5th place finish

Girls' Volleyball: 5th place finish

Boys' Lacrosse: 3rd place finish

Girls' Indoor Track: 2nd place finish

Boys' Tennis: 2nd place finish

Girls' Outdoor Track: 2nd place finish

Boys' Indoor Track: State Champion

Girls' Tennis: State Champion
