Beginning Sunday, October 14th, all students, parents, staff and community members with ties to Lynchburg City Schools will be able to fill out a school culture survey.
School culture is an essential component of the ABCs of the 2012-2014 Comprehensive Plan. Our schools are an inclusive community in which people from different cultural, ethnic, racial, and religious backgrounds learn, live, and work harmoniously, without compromising their beliefs and their identities. Our goal from this school culture survey is to make stakeholders and community members accountable, and to ask, listen and learn from student, staff and parent input.
The survey is
available online and a paper copy can be picked up and dropped off at any one of the Lynchburg City Schools and at the School Administration Building at 915 Court Street in downtown Lynchburg.
The survey can be completed and turned in any time between October 14th and October 28th. LCS students in grades 5, 7, 8, 10, 11, and 12 will be allotted time during the school day to complete the survey online.
