Middle school students from all over the state of Virginia will be performing one act plays and musicals this week at Paul Laurence Dunbar Middle School for Innovation for the Virginia Theatre Association's Middle School Theatre Festival.
The event kicks off Friday evening, November 9th, beginning at 7:00 p.m. with Dunbar Theatre's performance of Mulan. One more show is also scheduled for Friday evening. Then on Saturday, November 10th, eight other schools will be performing from 8:00 a.m. until 4:30 p.m. followed by workshops and wrapping up with the awards ceremony at 6:00 p.m.
Tickets are $5 dollars for the entire two day event.
