The Heritage High School boys varsity and junior varsity basketball teams raised more than 100 lbs. of food during "Scoring for Lynchburg," a canned food drive on December 22nd.

Players and coaches went door to door in the Timberlake Road area to collect cans and perishable items for the Daily Bread of Lynchburg.

The basketball teams have planned a presentation to give food to the Daily Bread during halftime of the varsity game against E. C. Glass this Thursday, January 10th at Heritage High School.

Participating partners in this event included Jackson Street United Methodist Church, Fairview United Methodist Church and Diamond Hill Baptist Church.
