E. C. Glass High School distance runner Kate Carrington was honored by principal Tracy Richardson following the Region III Track and Field Championships in February.
Kate finished second in the 3,200-meter race behind Jefferson Forest runner Erin Saunders, but her performance was highlighted by her show of sportsmanship when she helped her opponent up after she fell during the tight race.
