The Dunbar cheer squad performed their hearts out at the Cupid Classic in Concord, N.C. in February, earning second place in the competition and an invitation to the National Competition in Virginia Beach in May.
The squad is the first competition cheer squad at Paul Laurence Dunbar Middle School for Innovation since the 1990s.
