Dearington Elementary School for InnovationFour students from Dearington Elementary School for Innovation were recognized as finalists for their science poetry in a Randolph College Poetry Contest in March. Second-graders Daylah Owens-Watson and Taliyah Ware and fifth-graders Hannah LeSueur and Jamya Johnson will have their poems published in a book in May.  Also, Hannah LeSueur won second place in the K-5 division and won a $50 gift certificate to Givens Books.
