E. C. Glass students John Osinga and Akira Harris were recognized for their service on the Youth Philanthropy Committee during a ceremony in April. They were among 21 students from high schools in Central Virginia who were recognized for their community involvement. John and Akira were presented with a plaque from their Adult Advisor on the Greater Lynchburg Community Trust, Dr. Augustas A. Petticolas, Jr.
