Beacon of HopeDuring the month of February, the Lynchburg Beacon of Hope celebrated its FAFSA Frenzy Week.

More than 60 families participated in the event, which matched up families with advisors to helped high school students complete the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid).

The Beacon of Hope estimated around 70 percent of LCS seniors filled out the application this year.
