The Top 5 ongoing activities for the new Heritage High School include:

  • Heavy earth moving at the new bus turn around loop
  • Pouring concrete slabs
  • Steel erection
  • Masonry wall erection
  • Installation of under slab utilities

Fun statistics include:

  • We have installed 554 tons of steel to date
  • We have worked just over 70,000 man hours to date
  • There will be 400,000 bricks in the skin of the building
  • There are 480,000 concrete masonry blocks in the structure
  • There will be 20,000 bags of mortar used on the building
  • There will be 1,800 yards of grout fill in CMU block walls
