Culinary Arts students from E. C. Glass and Heritage high schools participated in the FCCLA State Leadership and Recognition Conference in Virginia Beach. Collectively they earned $98,000 in scholarships, two gold medals, seven silver medals, and four bronze medals. The overall award winners are:
