The Lynchburg City Schools Education Foundation, Inc. offers two types of grants.  If you are planning on applying for a grant, be sure to review the descriptions of each grant along with the Grant Criteria and Grant Guidlines. Please submit all Educational Foundation, Inc. grant applications by 5:00 p.m. on designated deadline date.

2013 – 2014 Education Grant Application Information & Timeline

Classroom Innovation Grants

• Approximately 40 offered each year
• Funding level requests not to exceed $2,000
• April 15, 2013 – Announce Grant Program & Applications
• April 15, 2013 through September 13, 2013 – Applications Accepted
• September 16, 2013 through October 11, 2013 – Review of Grant Applications
• October 18-25, 2013 – Notification of Grant Winners
• May TBD, 2014 – Awards Reception & Program – 4:30 p.m. (Location To Be Announced)

Master Classroom Innovation Grants

• Only 2 offered each year
• Funding level requests $2,001–$5,000
• May 28, 2013 – Announce Grant Program & Applications
• May 28, 2013 through Wednesday, August 21, 2013 – Applications Accepted
• August 26, 2013 through August 30, 2013 – Review of Grant Applications
• September 4, 2013 – Conditional Notification of Master Classroom Innovation Grant Winners
• May TBD, 2014 – Awards Reception & Program – 4:30 p.m. (Location To Be Announced)
