Substitute Application Process
All persons interested in applying for a substitute position with Lynchburg City Schools for the current school year, must attend a substitute orientation.
Orientations are normally held in the Board Room of the Administration Building on the second Friday of each month at 9:00 a.m. The orientation for substitute health assistants are held on the same dates and location beginning at 11:00 a.m.
Please bring the following items to the orientation:
- Completed substitute application
- Copy of college transcripts (must have 60 credit hrs.) - Unofficial Acceptable
- Tuberculosis test results
- Two forms of identification
- Voided check
