What is the RODEO/ISAEP program?
RODEO is designed to provide an opportunity for Lynchburg City Schools' students (ages 17-22) to enroll in a pre-GED or GED preparation program. Assessment, pre-employment training, workplace essential skills, post-secondary education training/planning, and counseling are also provided to prepare students for success. Transportation must be provided by parent or guardian.
Who is eligible to attend the RODEO program?
Individuals (ages 17 to 22) with less than five (5) credits toward graduation may apply for the program through the Amelia Pride Center.
What are the benefits of attending the RODEO program?
- Students will benefit by earning a GED, gaining workplace skills and preparing for post-secondary education and training.
- The school division will benefit by educating and training a segment of the school community not previously reached.
- Area businesses will benefit by employing the newly-trained individuals.
- The community will benefit by gaining more productive members of the community.

Staff: Monday – Thursday: 8:00 a.m. – 5:30 p.m.
Students: Monday – Thursday (Two time slots available) 8:30 a.m. – 12:15 p.m. 1:15 p.m. – 5:00 p.m.
