Payroll Deductions - Regulation R5-32

A Required Payroll Deductions
Payroll deductions are required for the following:

  • Federal Withholding Tax
  • Social Security
  • State Withholding Tax

B. Optional Payroll Deductions
Payroll deductions are optional for the following:

  • Lynchburg Municipal Employees Federal Credit Union
  • Flexible Benefits Options
  • Group Hospital and Major Medical Insurance
  • Lynchburg Education Foundation, Inc. Contributions
  • Professional Dues
  • Tax Sheltered Annuity Program
  • United Way Contributions
  • United States Savings Bonds

C. Minimum Enrollment
A minimum of 10% of the affected work force must be involved in order for the administration to consider adding a payroll deduction request.
