Do you have concerns about your child’s development?

If your child is 2-5 years of age and lives in Lynchburg or is attending a qualifying school within the Lynchburg City School zone, we are here to help.  Please call 434-515-5180 to schedule a consultation appointment to learn more about your child’s development.

Who can refer?

A child may be referred by a parent/guardian or family member who has concerns about their child’s development.  A doctor, therapist or service provider such as early intervention or agency such as the Department of Social Services may refer a child.  A childcare provider may refer a child who lives in the City of Lynchburg.  A qualifying school within the Lynchburg City School zone may refer a child attending their school.

How do I make a referral?

If you would like to make a referral for a School Consultation Team meeting, please call 434-515-5180 or fax your request to 434-522-2323 and a meeting will be scheduled within 10 administrative days.

What do I need to provide?

Please provide the following information about the child: full name, date of birth, gender, race, address and phone number of parent/guardian.
