Social Studies is taught across the curriculum through unit themes, tradebooks, and field trips. Students are given many opportunities to demonstrate their learning through book reports, presentation software, art projects, drama, movement, and musical programs. Some of our activities include Geography Bee, Colonial Day, Greek Feast, Native American Day, and a Time Magazine Timeline. We also invite speakers who focus on particular periods in our country's history. Students create foldables and Interactive Notebooks to assist with learning the curriculum.
