T. C. Miller students apply to participate in curricular activities known as Specials. The application is a vehicle for children to accept responsibility for maintaining grades and behavior that are acceptable to their parents and teachers. Specials are designed to support the multiple intelligences as identified by Howard Gardner. To participate in these activities, students give up recess time.
