Directions
From Boonsboro Road: 1) Turn onto Mimosa Drive, left on Indian Hill Road, left on Morningside Drive, or 2) Turn onto Burnt Bridge Road, at the first stop sign continue straight onto Indian Hill Road, left on Morningside Drive.
From Link Road: Turn onto Hurdle Hill Road (will become Evergreen Rd. at the curve), right on Indian Hill Road at the small bridge, right onto Morningside Drive.
School Hours
Students: 8:45 a.m. – 3:50 p.m.
Teachers: 8:30 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.
Administration and Clerical Staff: 8:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.
School Year
Our school year consists of two semesters; six grading periods of six weeks each.

Accreditation
The Lynchburg City School Division is accredited by both the Virginia State Department of Education and the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools.

Staffing
Bedford Hills is currently staffed by 25 regular classroom teachers, 4 classrooms for students with special needs, and resource classes in art, music, library and physical education. In addition to our principal and administrative assistant, our building also offers the services of a guidance counselor, speech/language therapist, occupational therapist, physical therapist, psychologist, instructional technology specialist and Title I teaching team. Our instructional support specialist, health assistant, teacher assistants and secretaries provide the final element of a caring and successful staff here at BHS.
School History
Bedford Hills is named for the neighborhood subdivision in which it is located. Bedford Hills School sustained a complete renovation after a fire in December of 1991. At that time, 250 students were redistricted and added to the enrollment. An additional ten classrooms were added along with a new library, office area, and computer lab.
