Book Bag Policy: Students may bring a regular size book bag to school, but they will not be allowed to use them during the school day. Students may ONLY USE a “Drawstring Backpack” during the day. Students can carry their books and utilize their locker more often if you do not wish to purchase a drawstring bag, but they will be the ONLY bag allowed during the school day.

6th Grade Supply List

All students bring (kept in Homeroom):

  • 1 pack of notebook paper   
  • 2 boxes of tissues
  • 1 package of #2 pencils
  • Optional:
    1 package Ziploc bags
    ​1 container Clorox wipes

Students bring (Use your class schedule to determine class names):

English 6A/English 6B

  • 1 marble composition notebook [English 6A bring a 2nd notebook] (to be kept in the classroom)
  • 1 package red pens (to be kept in classroom)
  • 1 package 3x5 lined index cards (to be kept in classroom)
  • 1 package of glue sticks (to be kept in classroom)
  • 1 plastic folder with prongs of any color (to be kept in the classroom)

Science 6A to Stay in the Life Science Classroom

  • 2 highlighters (yellow only)
  • 2 composition notebooks (non-spiral)
  • 4 - 8 oz. bottles of Elmer’s Glue All (NOT Washable or School Glue)
  • 1 pack of 100 lined index cards
  • 2 packs of 12 count colored pencils
  • 1 pack of colored paper (colors: pastel or brights)
  • 1 pack of notebook paper
  • Optional Donations:
    White, pastel colored, or astrobrights copy paper, and Hand sanitizer

Science 6X to Remain in the Life Science Classroom

  • 2 highlighters (yellow only)
  • 3 composition (marble) notebooks (non-spiral)
  • 1 green plastic (poly) folder with prongs (no paper; gets wet in labs)
  • 4 - 8 oz. bottles of Elmer’s Glue All (NOT Washable or School Glue)
  • 2 packs of 100 lined index cards
  • 1 pack of 12 count colored pencils
  • 1 pack of colored paper (colors: pastel or brights)

Math 6XB

  • 4 plastic folders (red) with prongs and pockets, filled with notebook paper

  • 1 set of ear buds (to be brought to class when needed)

Math 6A

  • dry erase markers (kept in pencil pouch)
  • 1 package of dry erase markers (optional for classroom)
  • 1 package colored computer paper (optional for classroom)

Social Studies 6A/6X

  • 4 plastic folders (blue) with prongs and pockets, filled with notebook paper

  • 1 package glue sticks
  • 1 package index cards

 

7th Grade Supply List

  • Loose leaf paper
  • 3-ring binder* (w/dividers for each class) *Math 7A will need a 1.5” binder w/ dividers
  • Pencils
  • Pens (multiple colors preferred)
  • Highlighters
  • Hand-held pencil sharpener
  • Earbuds
  • Tissues, wipes, and hand-sanitizer (to be collected in homeroom)
  • Notebook
  • Colored Pencils

**Some teachers MAY ask for additional supplies during registration especially if they are new to our building and were not here to help create this list. 

 

8th Grade Supply List

  • Pencils

  • Binders (at least one 2-inch for Math 8)
  • Composition notebook (1 for English)

**Some teachers MAY ask for additional supplies during registration especially if they are new to our building and were not here to help create this list.

Algebra I

  • 2 inch Three Ring Notebook with 8 dividers (loose leaf paper to be kept in this notebook)(Notebook must be for Algebra I ONLY)
    ​Notebook should be organized with dividers as follows:
    1. Algebraic Properties,Equations, & Inequalities
    2. Functions & Relations
    3. Graphing Linear Equations
    4. Systems of Equations & Inequalities
    5. Polynomials & Factoring Polynomials
    6. Quadratic Equations & Statistics
    7. SOL & Exams
    8. Miscellaneous
  • Pencils (2-3 #2 sharpened pencils each day)
  • Pens (1 red , 1 green, 1 blue and 1 black – it is recommended to get a pen that contains all 4 colors in one pen)
  • 8 Plastic Sleeves (or dividers with pockets) - to store foldables for each section of notebook
  • Highlighter
  • Notebook paper
  • Pencil bag that fits into 3 ring notebook
  • Earbuds (to be brought to class each day)
  • Box of Tissues (bring to class the first week)
  • TI-83, TI-83+, TI-84, or TI-84+ (Silver and/or CE are also acceptable)
    Graphing Calculator (OPTIONAL BUT PREFERABLE)

NOTE: Students are expected to have supplies with them in class each day.
