Newsweek Names HHS in Top High Schools in America - Again!
Once again, Heritage High School has been named by Newsweek magazine as one of the top public high schools in the nation. Just over 1600 schools, approximately 6% of the more than 27,000 high schools in the nation, make this list. This makes the SIXTH year in a row that HHS has received this honor. Rankings are determined by taking the number of Advanced Placement, International Baccalaureate, and / or Cambridge tests taken by all students at the school and dividing by the number of graduating seniors. Unfortunate, due to an error on the part of Newsweek, Heritage was not included on the original list. We have been assured that, when the list in updated in the next month, Heritage will be included. According to our calcuations, Heritage should come in around 860, up considerably from last year’s ranking of 1453. Congratulations to all students and faculty for another example of a job well done!
