Testing Schedule


SOL Testing Schedule 2012-13
 

Fall

  • The STAR reading pretest is taken by all students
  • The VA Algebra Readiness Diagnostic Test is given to all students
  • Quarterly DWAP testing

Winter

  • December 17-21, 2012: Final Exams in Foreign Language, Earth Science, and Algebra are administered to 8th grade students enrolled in these classes
  • February 4-8, 2013: Stanford Diagnostic Reading Test is given to all students in February
  • NAEP testing February 20 - select 8th graders
  • Standards of Learning Multiple Choice and Direct Writing assessment is administered to all 8th grade students in March

Spring

  • Standards of Learning 8th Grade Math, Science, and English assessments are administered to all 8th grade students
  • Standards of Learning 8th Grade Math and Science assessments are administered to 7th grade students in advanced math and science classes
  • Standards of Learning Social Studies assessments will be administered to all 6th, 7th, and 8th grade students
  • Standards of Learning 5th Grade Math and English assessments are administered to selected 6th grade students
  • Final Exams in Foreign Language, Earth Science, and Algebra are administered to 8th grade students enrolled in these classes
