Paul Munro 24 Math Team 
Each year, our PME “24 Game” math challenge team goes to Linkhorne Middle School to compete in the 4th and 5th grade city-wide competition. This game is designed to reinforce math computational skills of combining adding, subtracting, multiplying, and dividing using 4 numbers on a card that will equal 24. We look forward to determining our 4 fourth graders and 4 fifth graders for this year’s tournament.

DAR Citizenship Award
One fifth grade student is selected and presented with the Daughters of the American Revolution Citizenship Award on a yearly basis.

Accelerated Reader  Awards

  • Students are recognized for AR achievements every nine weeks and at the end of the school year.

Presidential Academic Fitness Award
The Presidential Academic Fitness Awards are presented annually to fifth grade students who meet the criteria espoused by the United States Department of Education.

Presidential Physical Fitness Award
The Presidential Physical Fitness Awards are presented annually to fifth and fourth grade students who meet the criteria espoused by the United States Department of Education.

Principal's List
Students are recognized for earning all A's on progress reports.

Honor Roll
Students are recognized for earning all A's and B's on progress reports.

Reading Incentive
Certificates are awarded annually to students who participate in reading six or more hours a month. Students are also rewarded on a monthly basis for turning in reading calendars that record six or more hours of reading.

Computer Learning Foundation
The Computer Learning Foundation has awarded the faculty of Paul Munro Elementary with a certificate of achievement. Paul Munro Elementary is a Certified Level III school. This certificate was awarded for displaying a commitment to education and preparing students for the future, by learning about Internet Web Sites to improve the quality of classroom learning through the use of technology. This is the highest level presented by the Computer Learning Foundation.
