Superintendent’s Personnel Advisory Committee
Our Purpose
Each school year, the Superintendent's Personnel Advisory Committee meets for the purpose of discussing specific interests, concerns, and initiatives which affect the school division or portions of the school division. These meetings will continue during the 2009-10 school year. The selection of members for the Superintendent's Personnel Advisory Committee requires the assistance of the building principals and several other supervisory personnel. The membership for the Superintendent's Personnel Advisory Committee will include:
One representative from:
- each elementary school
- each secondary school
- transportation – bus driver*
- transportation – mechanic*
- food services*
- custodial staff*
- nurses/health assistants*
- teacher assistants*
- principal – elementary
- principal – secondary
- secretarial staff (determined by LAEOP president)
- LAUREL Regional School
- Governor's School for Science and Technology
- Amelia Pride Center
- Middle School Learning Center
Three representatives from:
- Lynchburg Education Association (determined by LEA president)
Meeting Dates
The committee will meet on the second Thursday of each month in the Board Room at the School Administration Building beginning at 3:45 p.m. These meetings will occur on:
- December 10, 2009 – Minutes
- February 4, 2010
