Congratulations to the E. C. Glass Choral Department and all of the E. C. Glass delegates to the VMEA VI All-District Chorus on their outstanding performances at Christiansburg High School. Eight students placed in the All-State Chorus auditions:

Morgan Gafford - Alto I Delegate, 2nd in District
Nathan Wilkerson - Tenor II Delegate, 1st in District
Hunter Dixon - Bass II Delegate, 1st in District
Naomi Levin - Soprano I 1st Alternate Delegate, 5th in District
Emma Eubank - Soprano I 2nd Alternate Delegate, 6th in District
Sarah Aguilar - Alto II 2nd Alternate Delegate, 6th in District
Ian Kincaid - Bass I 2nd Alternate Delegate, 4th in District
The All-State Chorus event will be held simultaneously with All-State Band and Orchestra for the first time ever, and will be held at Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond on April 5-7, 2018.
To top it off, two E. C. Glass delegates, Addison King and Damani Johnson, were also selected to be featured soloists on a septet from the Kyrie/Mass in B-flat Major #10 by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart.
