AFLAC provides a variety of supplemental benefits that employees may choose to protect themselves from catastrophic conditions and costs. Premiums for this benefit are paid by the employee at 100% and are payroll deducted from your semi-monthly paychecks.

Who is Eligible to Enroll?
You are eligible for the benefits if you are contracted at least 30 hours per week.
How can I Enroll?
New hire must enroll within 31 days of their contract start date by contacting Sue Lawhorne at (434) 528-1001 or via email at firstname.lastname@example.org. Additionally, employees can enroll within 31 days of a qualifying event or during the annual Open Enrollment Period.
What Happens to my AFLAC Coverage if I Leave Lynchburg City Schools (LCS) Employment?
Employees may continue their AFLAC insurances if employment with the Lynchburg City Schools ends. AFLAC will bill employees directly. Once you leave LCS it is your responsiblity to contact AFLAC and make sure your premiums are paid in a timely manner and to keep your address current in their system.
