NFL Buffaloe Bills player and Sheffield graduate Brad Butler, will be at Sheffield on Wednesday,February 17,2010. He will speak to third,fourth,and fifth graders at 9:30 A.M. After this assembly he will walk around and visit with the younger grades in their classrooms.
STAR Reading Tests will be given to all students in grades 1-5 during the week of February 15-19, 2010. In addition, first graders will be given the Nigliari Nonverbal Ability Tests.
Students do not attend school on Monday, February 15,2010 due to a teacher professional development day.
The end of first semester is Friday,January 22, 2010. Third Six weeks Assessment Testing is January 26-February 2,2010.
Midyear STAR Reading Assessment Tests will be given the week of February 8-12,2010.
Sheffield Elementary will be closed for winter break December 19, 2009 through January 3,2010. Students resume classes on Monday, January 4,2010.
