A group of students at E. C. Glass High School, called Link Crew, has been working since February on individual projects as part of a "Pay it Forward" initiative to broaden community and school support. One of their efforts included raising box tops and, instead of keeping them at E. C. Glass, they will be donating them to R. S. Payne Elementary School. 

Their efforts since February have included collecting items, such as stuffed animals, for various donations to Goodwill, and other non-profit agencies.

The program was led by Link Crew coordinator Lisa Kibler, as well as student coordinators Katie Kitts, Tenesha Davis, Clay Oboth, Luke Saechao, Krista Rawls and a number of 10th and 11th graders. These student leaders “linked” with freshmen during RAM classes, and worked with them during the semester.
