The float created by students at T. C. Miller Elementary School for Innovation was chosen “Best Overall” at the Lynchburg Christmas Parade earlier this month. They shared the title with Forest Dance Academy.

The theme of Miller’s float was "International Holiday Greetings: Stories and Traditions from Around the World." Students dressed in traditional outfits from multiple countries, and at the judges platform, the students sang and signed "We Are the World."

The banners, international holiday disk ornaments and snowflakes that adorned the float were all created by the T. C. Miller Elementary School Art Club and Soaring Eagles After School Art Program.
