HHS JROTC Celebrate Marine Corps 239th BirthdayThe Heritage High School Marine Corps JROTC Drill Team has been selected to represent the Western Region at the State Drill Meet in March. The Drill Team was selected after winning the Post 16 Western Region Drill competition in October.

Also, the JROTC visited the Moose Lodge on Lakeside Drive to honor Veterans for Veterans Day. The Drill Team, Color Guard, and Exhibition Teams performed.

Other celebrations include:

  • The Drill Team hosted a successful Big Orange Drill Meet in October, thanks to generous donations and volunteers.
  • The JROTC celebrated the Marine Corp's 239 Birthday by having a Cake Cutting Ceremony during ROTC classes. The ceremony honored special guests as well as the oldest and youngest members of the group.
