The February 2, 2021 meeting of the Lynchburg City School Board will be held virtually via Zoom. This change is made as a safety precaution after we were notified that two individuals who were present at the January 26th school board meeting tested positive for the coronavirus 2019 (COVID-19).

This change to a virtual meeting is only for the February 2nd meeting.

As always, public comments are welcomed.

Person’s wishing to address the school board should register at the link below to attend virtually and speak during the public comments portion of the virtual meeting. CLICK HERE TO REGISTER. Please register at least fifteen minutes prior to the start of the meeting.

You may also share your comment in advance, by sending a written statement to the school board clerk at [email protected] or leaving a voice message at (434) 515-5077 by 3:00 p.m. on the day of the meeting (Feb. 2). Statements would be read and messages would be played during the public comment section of the school board meeting.

We continue to encourage the public to view LCS School Board meetings live on our LCS YouTube Channel or Comcast Cable Channel 17. The February 2nd meeting begins at 5:00 p.m. View School Board meeting schedules, agendas, and videos at www.lcsedu.net/schoolboard/meetings.
