Dear LCS families,
As you are aware, this week we faced a fuel shortage, but there is great news! The pipeline that serves our gas stations has been restored. However, we recognize that there may be a few days before gas station services are back to normal, and employees may have difficulty getting to work due to the shortage. To conserve gas, employees will be working remotely on Monday, May 17, 2021.
All students should continue with their remote-learning lessons. Teachers will be logging into Seesaw and Google Classroom, and student attendance will be taken.
Students who were scheduled to take SOL tests or otherwise would have been in the buildings Monday will be learning remotely and should not report to their school buildings. SOL testing will be rescheduled.
There will be no meal delivery or curbside meal service.
Friday, May 14 is a normal school day, and students should report to school or log in remotely as normal.
