Rising seventh and 12th graders must obtain required immunizations before the first day of school in order to attend Lynchburg City Schools. Make appointments now with your child's healthcare provider or the Health Department to get your child the immunizations they need.
Required immunizations for entry into seventh grade include a Diphtheria, Tetanus, and Pertussis (Tdap) Booster; Meningococcal Conjugate (MenACWY) Vaccine; and Human Papillomavirus (HPV) Vaccine. The final dose of the MenACWY Vaccine should be administered prior to entering 12th grade.
