Heritage High School will have four basic AV configurations:
Room Type 1
Classroom type 1 is a collaboration lab. There are a total of 5 type 1 classrooms. A Type 1 classroom will consist of a Custom Extron Plenum Vault and a 65inch multi touch interactive TV in the front of the classroom for the teacher display and five collaboration tables. The teacher will have the ability to control the content on the front display and the collaboration tables. Both the teacher display and collaboration displays will be connected to wireless display device that will allow four student screens to be viewed at one time. A collaboration table will have a 46inch HD LED TV. The system must allow the teacher to select the input to display on the teacher display and the collaboration tables. The teacher can select a collaboration table display and push its content to all displays or allow the tables to work independently. The equipment for this room is planned to be housed inside the center table and not the plenum vault. See Appendix A.
Room Type 2
Classroom type 2 will consist of a Custom Extron Plenum Vault and a 65inch multi-touch interactive TV in the front of the classroom and one collaboration table in the back corner of the classroom and a third large screen display in the opposite back corner. Both the teacher display and collaboration display will be connected to wireless display device that will allow four student screens to be viewed at one time. A collaboration table will have a 46inch HD LED TV. The system must allow the teacher to select the input to display on the teacher display and the collaboration table. The teacher can select the collaboration table display and push its content to all displays or allow the table to work independently. There are 35 type 2 rooms planned. See Appendix B.
Room Type 3
Classroom type 3 will consist of a Custom Extron Wallvault in a WMK 160 and a 65inch multi-touch interactive TV in the front of the classroom. The teacher display will also be connected to wireless display device that will allow four student screens to be viewed at one time. There are 28 type 3 rooms planned. See Appendix C. Direct Connect
The fourth type of room is a direct connect. This room type will consist of 46inch non touch TV and a wireless display device. This room will also have an HDMI and VGA outlet directly connected to the TV. There are 16 direct connect rooms planned. See Appendix D. See exception for room G09.
