VIOLIN

Beginner Violin: Enrollment notes for beginning violin classes have been sent home and are due back on Wednesday, September 25. There will be an informational meeting for interested parents on Monday evening, September 23 at 6:30 p.m. in the cafeteria. If you can not attend Monday evening, you are welcome to join Paul Munro parents on Tuesday evening, September 24 at 6:30 p.m. If you did not receive an enrollment form, please email me your child's name, grade and teacher and I will email you a copy ([email protected])

Field Trip: I was so proud of our 3-5th grade violin students on Friday, September 20. They attended a concert at E. C. Glass by 16 year old Christina Nam from Cincinnati, Ohio that was sponsored by the Randolph College Fine Arts Department. The Facilities Rental Director at Glass was amazed at the behavior of all the students who attended the program. Special thanks to Anne Wood, Beth Hartman-Peters, Jennifer Mann and Beth Pollard for being great chaperones!

BHS SPIRIT WEAR

Husky Spirit Wear order forms have been sent home in backpacks. Please fill in your order form and return it to school. Last day for orders will be October 11.

BOX TOPS

Have you downloaded and used the Box Tops app yet? Since August, our school has earned over $10 from app users! Imagine how quickly that $10 could become hundreds of dollars if all of our families participated. And remember, keep clipping Box Tops that haven't expired. We will have a collection drive for those soon. Questions about the app or Box Tops? Feel free to email Margo Shoemaker at [email protected].
