Community and governmental organizations can submit outside materials through a request process.  Materials may be distributed in the schools if activities are related to the educational mission of Lynchburg City Schools and meet all approval requirements.

If you are interested in distributing flyers or materials to one or more schools, please fill out the LCS Distribution of Information Request Form. You will also need to send a digital version of the flyer to [email protected]. Once submitted, you will receive a follow-up email regarding the approval process. All materials must include the following statement:  "These materials and the activity described herein, are not sponsored or endorsed by the Lynchburg City School Board."

Please note:

  • LCS must approve any materials sought to be distributed or made available by non-school organizations, including parent-teacher organizations and booster clubs.
  • All approved activities must be for educational merit and/or recreational merit.
  • Materials should be submitted at least a month prior to the requested distribution date.
  • LCS does not currently distribute flyers electronically to students or families.
