SAVE THE DATE!

We are very excited about our upcoming STREAM Night-Spaced Out on Thursday, February 27, 2020 from 5:30-7:30 p.m. Please mark your calendars and plan to attend!

HOUR OF CODE

Our students will be participating in the Hour of Code as part of Computer Science Education Week. Looking forward to the engaging lesson our new librarian, Mrs. Arp, has planned to enrich our students' thinking and learning!

AMAZON SMILE

As the holiday shopping starts, please make sure you are using Amazon Smile with Bedford Hills selected as your charity. This will help us raise money for the PTO without lifting a finger!

GIVENS/LITTLE DICKENS

As you begin your holiday shopping, don’t forget to shop local, and be sure to ask for any purchases you make at Givens/Little Dickens to be applied towards Bedford Hills. They will give back a percentage of purchases at the end of the year to our library!

VIOLIN

All violin students should have brought home a note regarding our upcoming concerts. If you did not receive one, please email Mrs. Paris ([email protected])

Wednesday, December 11 all violin students who are not beginners, will perform at First Presbyterian Preschool and St. John's Day School. We are grateful to the PTO for providing the transportation for this event.

Friday, December 13, all violin students will perform for the school at 2:30 p.m. Some parent assistance is needed. Please let Mrs. Paris know if you can help. Students will leave cases in the hallway after class and report to the cafeteria at 2:15. The kindergarten and first grade beginners will practice at 10:15 a.m. Please remember to send their violin to school with them on the 13th.  All grade 2 and 3 will have violin earlier in the day—time to be determined.

Thursday, December 19 all violin students will perform for their families at 7:00 p.m. Tuning will be from 6:20-6:55 p.m. The concert will start with all beginners on the stage, then they will sit with their parents and listen to the other students play. Please remain in the cafeteria for the entire violin program. Mrs. Paris want s to quickly check tuning after the concert since there are no lessons on Friday, December 20.
