Message from Mrs. Steele, Principal

Today the school board announced LCS will be all remote learning for the remainder of the week. There is a school board work session tomorrow at 5:00 p.m. to discuss plans for January 2021. You can tune in on Lynchburg City Schools YouTube. We appreciate your support and partnership as we work together during these challenging times!

From all of us at Bedford Hills to each of you, please have a safe, healthy and wonderful winter break!

Message from Amanda Rumore, PTO President

The PTO President recently attended a Superintendent’s Advisory Council meeting where questions around COVID metrics, the Governor's most recent mask mandates, and LCS communication strategies were discussed. If you have any questions, concerns, and/or notes of praise that you would like shared with the Superintendent and her staff at the next meeting, please email them to: [email protected].

Thank you to everyone who participated in the Scholastic Book Fair! We will share funds raised as soon as they are processed and available. Many thanks to Gail Hill for her organization of this event! Missed the bookfair? Don’t worry! We still plan to host a (virtual) spring book fair at the end of April.

Yearbook Photos from Remote Learners

The PTO is beginning to work on the 2020-2021 yearbook and would love for parents to send in photos from remote learners. Please email photos to  [email protected] and let us know if you’re interested in helping to design this year’s BHES yearbook.
