The Candy Cane Clubhouse is a special holiday event where students can experience the joy of giving! It offers a fun and affordable opportunity for students to "shop" for small gifts for their family and friends. All students are welcome to select one gift free of charge, ensuring every child can participate.

The items available are generously donated or purchased by the PTO. It's a festive way to encourage kindness, generosity, and the spirit of the season.

Read Across America Week is an annual celebration held in schools nationwide to inspire a lifelong love of reading in children and young adults. At Paul Munro, the PTO hosts a Read-A-Thon as part of this special week, encouraging students to read as much as they can while raising funds for school programs.

During the Read-A-Thon, students track their reading and collect donations from friends and family in support of their efforts. The event wraps up with a school-wide celebration, where we honor students’ hard work and recognize the top classroom at each grade level.

The PTO is incredibly grateful for the generous support of our community sponsors and the Lynchburg Education Foundation, whose contributions help make the Read-A-Thon and its prizes possible. Together, we’re building strong readers and a stronger school community!

The Spring Carnival on the first Saturday of May is a much-anticipated annual event hosted by the PTO, bringing together students, families, and the community for a day of fun, games, and celebration!
