Virtual Academy In-Person Activity for K-8: October 2021

As we have been sharing over the past few weeks, our students in grades K-8 will be participating in an in-person event. We can’t wait for this opportunity to work together! 

WHEN: During the week of October 25th

WHERE: 601 12th Street 

TIME: Arrive between 9:30-10:00 a.m. Activities will occur from 10:00 a.m.-1:00 p.m. Parents who elect to drive their students to the event will need to arrive to pick up at 1:00 p.m.

WHAT:  Students will engage in hands-on activities that align with their class learning targets. Lynchburg Parks and Recreation will be a special guest, helping our students with engaging STEM activities. 

Here is the grade level schedule for that week:

• Grades K-2: Tuesday, October 26, 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
• Grades 3-5: Wednesday, October 27, 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
• Grades 6-8: Thursday, October 28, 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
