Community Dinners - Experience the New Taste of School Meals - Feb. 12 at E. C. Glass High - 5-7 p.m. - $5/student meal $8/adult meal

Experience how LCS is revolutionizing school meals in partnership with Brigaid. Families, community members, students, and staff are invited to enjoy a high-quality dinner that reflects the foods served to our students at school. Join us on Thursday, Feb. 12, from 5-7 p.m. in the E. C. Glass High School cafeteria (2111 Memorial Avenue, Lynchburg, VA). 

February’s Valentine’s  Day-themed meal will feature:

  • Braised beef with mashed potatoes (Vegetarian option: Braised mushrooms with mashed potatoes)
  • Drop biscuits
  • Slow-roasted carrots and fennel
  • Garlicky green beans
  • Kale Caesar salad
  • Pears with coconut oat streusel
  • Desserts made by E. C. Glass High School culinary arts students

Both dine-in and take-out options are available. Meals are $5 for students and $8 for adults. Kids ages 2 and younger eat free. Payment will be accepted in cash or by card.
